Meet the Auckland Team

DAVE WOODFIELD Managing Director Dave’s main role at Signwise since purchasing the business in 2003 has been on the road assisting customers with their signage requirements. He can often be found with camera and tape measure in hand specifying signage somewhere around Auckland (& occasionally further a field). Dave enjoys leading such a motivated and excellent crew of sign professionals! Outside of work Dave enjoys spending time with his wife Alex and 3 daughters.  Other interests include Indoor Cricket, Soccer, watching sports (especially when the children are involved) and plenty of camping and outdoor activities in the summer. HAROON ALI Production Manager Haroon has been our Production Manager here at Signwise since the beginning of 2008.  Haroon’s career has been mainly in the screenprint industry where he spent 12 years at Imago Screenprint, earning apprentice of the year in 1999. The last 6 years at Imago were spent as Production Manager before joining Signwise. Haroon is married to Shareen and they have 2 children. Click here to email Haroon
DAVID BERGMAN Computer Production David is the veteran of our team and has been with Signwise for more than 6 years. David is our design & technology expert and spends his day driving our printer and cutter, as well as any design work required. Almost every customer of Signwise will have dealt with David at some time over the years. David’s spare time is used spending time with his partner Suko and their daughter. ROSIE DARROCH Sales Coordinator Rosie is the smiling voice you most often hear when you phone Signwise. When Rosie taught Dave & Alex’s kids the piano in her spare time, she had no idea she’d end up working for them at Signwise as well. Coming from secretarial & PA roles in the banking and accounting industries, as a creative person, she finds the innovative, creative aspect of sign writing a nice change. She is a member of BNI (Business Networking International) where she has held various leadership roles, most recently as President of her chapter.  Rosie enjoys associating with businessmen and women from various trades and industries through BNI and other networking opportunities. BOBBIE GRAY Computer Production / Administration Bobbie is the most recent addition to our team having recently moved back to Auckalnd from the BOP.  Bobbie enjoys the creative aspects of signage, particularly computer design and enjoys learning from the grand master (i.e. David Bergman).  Bobbie also looks after the administration @ Signwise. Bobbie is an enthusiastic artist and has had her several exhibitions of her work.  In her spare time, Bobbie enjoys playing sports and socialising. Click here to email Bobbie
ANTHONY LU Signmaker Extraordinaire Anthony has been with Signwise for 3 years and has been in the Sign industry for over 6 years. Anthony is proficient in using our signmaking software and divides his time at Signwise between our workshop and computer room. Anthony is proficient in all aspects of Signmaking including vehicle application, welding, spray painting & installations. Anthony lives with his wife and 2 small children and enjoys gaming as well as playing sports in his spare time.
SAM CHARMAN Signmaker Extraordinaire Sam has been with Signwise for 3 years and has now been a sign maker and installer for over 6 years. Sam’s expertise is in vehicle graphics and he specializes in full wraps but has an excellent all-round knowledge of modern signmaking and installation techniques. In his spare time Sam enjoys relaxing, walking the dog and a spot of fishing from time to time.
TIM LANE Trainee Signmaker Tim has  now been with Signwise for 12 months after returning to New Zealand from a brief OE in Australia.  Tim has a background in building swimming pools (of all things) but is keen to pursue a career in the sign industry.  Tim really enjoys the variety of working in a sign workshop and has excellent hands-on skills.
